Happy Holidays you two!
It's been a little over a year since we last spoke and I just wanted to give you an update on our lives with Gibby.
He has been the most wonderful dog ever since we brought him home.  He's laying next to me on his back as I write
this e-mail.  I took a lot of time out of my schedule to train him very early on and it is definitely paying off right
now.  He is very well behaved and listens to our every command.  He also gets along very well with other dogs.  My
sister has a beagle that is roughly the same age as Gibby.  The two of them absolutely love playing with each other.
Attatched are some pictures of Gibby to show you how much he's grown since we've taken him into our family.
We can't thank you enough for giving us this 16 lb. bundle of adorable!  We couldn't have asked for a better
puppy.  In fact, we are so pleased with him that we are considering getting another dog to accompany him when we get our own house (this is still a year or two away, but it's never too early to hope).  As happy as we are with this little Shih Tzu, we are thinking about going with a different breed for the second dog.  We have both agreed that a bulldog would be a good addition to this family.  We see on your website that you do breed English Bulldogs and we would definitely prefer to get our second dog from you.  Would you please give us some information with regards to owning a bulldog (price, health issues, compatibility with Shih Tzus, availability, etc.)?
Thanks again for making our lives much more complete.  We hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

Hey Sue,
How are you guys doing? We are good. Abby is wonderful. She is so cute. I attached some
pics of her. She doesn't like the cold much at all, so she has to wear
a coat. (Elly says so) :)   Abby didn't like it at first, but is used to it
now.
She is potty trained for the most part, still has a couple accidents,
which is understandable.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks so much for such a cute, sweet, loving lil pup!!

family loves her.

Right now she is at my classroom as I picked her up at lunch
time.  The children here love her too.

Hi  !!!  We wanted to give you an update on Gibby and send you some pictures.  He is doing wonderful!  He is
already a good 8 pounds, but we don't know the exact weight.  He just got his first haircut 2 weeks ago and he
is just adorable.  We are loving him.  We can't imagine how life would be without this little guy.  He is still very
playful, but he does nap too, thank goodness.  He is doing very good with the potty training.  We even have
started letting him roam in selected areas of the house when we leave for short periods.  He can "sit" lay
"down" "stay" and we're working on "paw" and "roll over".  However, he can only do it at home
with no distractions.  He's growing up so fast!!!  His favorite things to play with are empty milk
jugs and ice cubes, but he does love bones and a plush toy too.  Anything that squeaks will get
his attention for a short time.  He loves to be outside!  And he loves the snow!  At this very
moment, he doesn't like that I'm not paying attention to him so he just hopped into my lap and
dropped a slobbery toy on me.  He's always the center of attention and he knows it!  He is losing his baby teeth.  I'm not
even sure which ones are baby and which are adult they come in so fast!  He is happy and healthy.  I guess that's all
anyone can ask for.  Anyway, thanks for everything and we couldn't be happier with the little guy!!!  We'll keep you
updated as he gets older.

I just wanted to say hi and let you know that our babies are doing great! We named the new
baby Kiya (Sockie). Keiko was a little uneasy at first about our new addition but she warmed
up quickly. We have to keep reminding her that Kiya is not her “TOY”. It is rather funny though,
we can ask Keiko to go get “sissy” and she will run right to Kiya. Our whole family has fallen in
love with these two puppies and we can not thank you enough. We will certainly keep you in
mind if we hear of anyone looking for a new puppy. I will send you some more pictures as soon
as I download them onto my computer. Talk to you soon!

Hi Sue,
Remember me?????  Look how big I got.............
I'm sure you remember us.  We are the Polish couple that bought your puppy.  I just wanted you to know that he is
going great and he's growing like a potato.  I attached some pictures for you to see how big he got.  He goes by the
name, Abis., and we have a lot of fun with him.

Thank you so much again.  There is a chance that one of our friends will be giving you a call to get one puppy or
another breed.

I have purchased the male Shih Tzu puppy from you last week.
His name is Kookie, he is a wonderful puppy. He follows me
everywhere, plays all the time with his toys, he is very hyper
and energetic, and very spoiled.  I want to thank you from the
bottom of my heart for letting me to have someone like him in
my life. HE IS MY FURRY BABY! I enjoy every minute I spend
with him.  Once again, thank you very much you're my hero,
I’ll keep in touch.   I am extremely happy that I bought my

Susan,
I just wanted to let you know that the puppy is so precious.  And SPOILED ROTTEN ALREADY.   We just love him..  And you were right, he is an escape artist.  He found out how to open the door to the cage we have him in.  We had to put a lock on the doors.

He follows us everywhere we go.  He has to be touched when he is sleeping.  We named him Smokey.  He already knows his name.  I am so happy we got him.

If we get another poodle, we will be contacting you.  I knew when I first saw him, he was the one I wanted.  I wouldn't even hold any other puppy I saw out at Canton.

Thanks so much for being such a great breeder and really caring about the dogs.  I was really scared to buy another puppy after the experience we had last year.

Thanks again,

Hello Sue,
Just wanted to let you know that I was the one that bought the white chihuahua in Canton, Texas.  Her name is Gracie.  Thank you for such a wonderful puppy.  My teacup pom just loves her and they play most all the time.  We got her a heated puppy bed (talk about expensive), and she loves it.  She stays in it most of the time when I am home:)  We almost lost her 3 days after we bought her, but it was hypoglycemia.  Amazingly, after the vet saw her, and kept her for the day, she was jumping around that night.  It scared us to death, though, because she started siezing that morning, foaming at the mouth, etc.  My daughter was crying.....anyway, thank goodness she was fine.  We were doing what you told us, with the syrup on her food, however, the vet told us to start, daily, giving her 1cc of honey, more if she needed it.  My pom was getting jealous, and now that is an every day treat for them both.  They absolutely love "honey time."  Anyway, she is doing great, loving life, and loves my daughter....which was my goal.  If we ever get another one, I will be calling on you.  Thank you for breeding puppies with such wonderful dispositions.  My teacup pom breeder uses me as a reference, and I have had letters from people as far as New Jersey e-mail me for a reference.  Feel free to use me as a reference any time.

Kim Clark
That would be good if you came sometime in the morning or mid-afternoon I could come and get her then. But I will graduate that night so if that gets in the way, could I get her that Saturday? I would really like to tell you THANK YOU for all you have done! I will definitely use you and your kennel as a reference.
Thank You so Much!

We purchased a wonderful Yorkie “PUP” from Ricsue Kennel.  The purchasing experience we had from them was a very positive one.  Sue was very helpful in the selection process and she provided information to us on a timely basis.  The puppy pics that she sent us were terrific.  It was a great way to see his growth and enjoy him vicariously while waiting to bring him home.  Sue has a wealth of information regarding all puppy issues from health to training.  We appreciated all the advice she gave us prior to and after the purchase of our puppy.

We are using Webster Groves Veterinary clinic to service all of our puppy needs.  They are timely, professional and very caring.  We look forward to many years of enjoyment from our Yorkie, Henry.  He is a source of great pleasure for our family.  Thank you RICSUE KENNEL for making our experience a most positive one.

Hello.  How are you?  I came across your web site and had to write.  We bought our Dachshund
from you in 2001.  She is an awesome dog and we know that is mainly because of your breeding..
We  were  very impressed then, and even more impressed with the temperament/training of Dixie.
I have  attached a couple pictures of her.
She never goes in the house, she has never bitten and  loves  everyone.
She has outstanding health and a very strong back (which we all know is
very important  for doxies) .
Thank you for running such an outstanding kennel.  Being a military family,
we now live in Florida and Our son lives in Oklahoma.  We sure wish your
kennel was closer for we would definitely purchase from you again.  Good job!!

Dear Sue and Rick,
We are now two weeks into having "Effie", our Labra-Doodle puppy, in our home with us. I thought I would pass along some unsolicited observations about her for you to share with any of your potential future customers.
It was immediately obvious to both my wife and I that "Effie" had been well cared for by you and that she had been in frequent close proximity to both other dogs and children. "Effie" is bonding well with us and is super friendly to our neighbors (particularly the children) and their pets. She appears to be very intelligent and already (at ten weeks) associates the front door with doing her thing outside. What a bundle of fun and energy!
Thanks again. We could not be more pleased and happy with her.  Also, thank you very much for working with us on when to pick her up and keeping us posted on her first weeks of development before being weaned.
All our best -
Terry and Rosemary Norris

Sue,
Just wanted to send you an update on Bailey and how wonderful and cute she is.  She is sleeping through the
night and is doing really well with going outside for her jobs.  She loves to play and loves to cuddle with the
boys when she is ready for a nap.  She is so alert and smart and her hair is starting to change color...tan
instead of cream.  She has seen our vet and is now at 4 pounds.  She loves the
small tennis balls and chases  them around the kitchen.  She also loves to take
the kitchen towels off the towel rack.  We have given old ones to her for her
toys and keep our on the counter for now.  She loves chasing the June bugs
and fireflies at dusk and loves to sleep in her pet carrier.

I have attached some pictures and will continue to keep in touch.  Have a great rest of summer.

Hi Sue,
Thank you so much for intrusting my family and me with one of your precious little ones.    We affectionately
named her Misty.   As you already know, I did quite a bit of searching for a reputable breeder.  I chose
RicSue Kennels because you have an extensive amount of knowledge about the animals you breed.  Your
willingness to answer all of the questions that I had both before and after I picked Misty up impressed me
the most.
I am happy to report that Misty is a healthy, happy, and bouncy bundle of joy.  From the moment we picked
Misty up, we could tell that she had been around other dogs and humans.  Her socialization skills are wonderful.
Her first time at the Pooch Park was a joyous time.  She is one of the youngest and smallest dogs in the group,
but she is not shy nor is she timid.   My family and I have absolutely fallen in love with her.
Thank you again,

Just wanted to thank you first of all for letting us come to your home on a Sunday evening.  After you emailed us her picture, we just HAD to come and get her that evening.  Aadi, our Labradoodle is doing well and adjusting to her new home pretty quickly.  We love her so much already!  It was really nice talking with you and you can definitely tell that you love your animals; we were also very appreciative with the information packet that you gave us.  We have given your name out to numerous people already looking for a good breeder that they can trust (and that's no kidding!).  Thanks again.

Hi Sue,
Well just wanted to let you know Dolly and Gizmo are doing well.  Dolly is very playful and loving.  She likes to take walks and is always following me around.  Gizmo and Dolly had their first play date since they have been apart.  Wow they were playful.  Gizmo has become very active.  He is my mom's little baby.
We took Dolly and Gizmo to the vet.  Everything was fine with them.  They got their last shots and a physcial.  They have to go back in one month for their stool sample test and their rabies shots.  Besides that they are a loving pair.
Thanks again we are go happy you brought these little bundles of joy into our lives

PS Dolly does like to chew.  She is chewing at me right now.  She sends her licks.

Hi Sue, I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that Bentley is healthy, and AWESOME and we love him to death, as do the neighbors, the neighbors kids, and even the maintenance crew at the University across the street.  After our miriad of sad / bad experiences with rescue dogs he's exactly what the whole family needed.  My only regret is that we should have named him Hoover (he eats rather a lot).
Thanks Much, and if anyone in the Chicago area has questions about your labs, have them give me a call.
Sincerely

Best wishes and thank you!!!

Hi Sue,
Thanks for responding so quickly.  We're really interested in short hair due to allergies but  if you have any future litters of short hair we would be very interested.  I would love to know if you plan on having a litter of short hair, waiting is fine w/us and I'd rather go through a breeder that I trust.  Just on a side note; although our first doxie is no longer with us, I wanted to tell you he was the most gentle and loving animal we have ever had or seen even after having two children invade his home and it is a true shame he is no longer with us.  He loved our kids as much as we do I'm sure of it.  But I think he was such a good pet because of how he was brought into this world and I'm glad I was able to find your site and know that you are still out there as a breeder....A very good and trustworthy breeder.

Hi Sue,
I love my new puppy!!!  He's doing great!  I brought him to the vet on Monday the 26th and Dr said he looked good!
We are SO impressed with our Lab puppy "Hunter"!  You absolutely may use our Email address, phone number, and the messages we've sent.  We had reservations about buying a puppy online, not being able to see him or his parents or even the kennel, but speaking to you was very reassuring.  We are so glad we trusted you!  Hunter is in perfect health, he is showing intelligence and disposition that come from sound breeding and excellent early care.
Thank you again for a great puppy!

My family and I purchased a beagle puppy from you while you were at the VFW on 02/14/09. I just wanted you to know that we are very happy with the puppy and the puppy seems to like us too. Sue, thank you for the Yorkie.  He is so cute and my kids adore him.  He fit in right away; he was very playful and very hungry; ate a lot so the transition was smooth; We named him "Buddy." Took him to Petsmart after pickup for bath and brush.  He came out looking and smelling good.  We bought him chew toys which he loves and growls and plays with.  He is really close to me.  Everyday he runs to me and sits and lays on my feet and pulls on my socks.  I will take him to the Vet today or tomorrow.  Thanks again for your help and for recommending me the hypoallergenic dog that's perfect for me and my family.  Will keep in touch and send you referrals.

My children and I just want to give you a huge thanks for this perfect chihuahua.  We just love and adore her and will take the best of care of her.  Can you please help us understand what her potty habits are- how many times a day does she go out to potty, around how many times a day does she go #1 or #2.  What signs-if any- does she give when she needs to go out- how soon after has eaten does she need to go.  Any info would be helpful so it will take me less times to figure it out.  Thank you.  She is truely adorable!

Hi.  Just a note to tell you how happy we are with Lucy.  A day doesn't go by that she doesn't make us laugh.  Her personality is different from our last cocker.  She is a character.  She weighs about 25 lbs now.  She went to puppy school and learned a few things.  She comes when you call her, she stays until told to release and she sits pretty good.  Also she gives paw.  She loves being outside and playing with her squeaky ball.  She is still a "brat" but we love her.  She loves everyone in our family. I just wanted to let you know how she is doing.  We wouldn't give her up for anything.  She is our little girl.  Hope the other dogs are doing fine too.  I'd send a picture but my son keeps forgeting to take one of her to send.  Maybe this summer we'll get to do it.

Hi Sue:  She is wonderful. Thank you very much.   Here are a few pictures of her. we can't decide on a
name as yet but here are a few in the runningvHeidi, Cricket and Maddie. What do you think?  When she is
out of her crate she is laying on the floor by my feet. She played with my hubby Tom and his two adult
girls and then back by my feet for a nap.vvSleep 10 min and play for 5, how cute is that?

Couple questions please.  Has she ever been on a lead?  Did she sleep in a crate?  Was she crated in the
day or just night or not at all.  I see she does ride well in a crate.  Did she ever go potty out side?   I read
your instructions on feeding but you don't say how much.  Thanks Sue for your help.

Hi Sue,
We just passed the milestone of Sydney's third birthday and I can't believe we have had him for 3 years already.  Our adorable "tea cup" is really a coffee mug and is the love of our life.  You know my husband hates to leave the house these days because he misses Sydney so much, he'd rather stay home.  Anyway, one of these days I will convince him to get another dog .  Do you send out alist of your current puppies and if so, would you add me to your list?  Either email me at camiddle@charter.net or cmiddle@cbgundaker.com or both.  Would love to keep up and thanks for the adorable dog.

I wanted to write you to inform you about our miniature dachshund we purchased from you back in 2006.
His birthday was 4-12-06 and he was from pokeymon/cricket. We are so blessed to have him. We named
him Harley. He is just the most adorable dog in the world!! He just loves blankets. We usually find him
burrowed in them! This little guy just makes our day! He is so much fun to have at our home. He adds that
happiness that we needed! Ever since we have had him, he has given us many laughs and joyful moments!
His favorite thing to do, is when the paper delivery comes, he likes to collect everyone's newspaper on the
street! Our neighbors are used to it by now!! Harley is just so proud when he brings the paper to you!! He
also loves to dig up moles in the backyard too! It is so funny to watch him dig....he is always on a mission!
We could not of asked for a better pet! He is just the most perfect addition to our family! Should we ever
need another dachshund, we will for sure without a doubt come to you! We tell everyone about RICSUE
Kennel! We know you take pride in what you do, it shows! We could tell that you love your puppies when
we came to pickup Harley. We thank you so much for everything and we are so happy with our Harley dog!
Thanks again!!

Hi Sue,
I've been looking for a play mate for our Yorkie we got from you in June. Fred says I can look around so I looked up your web site and saw the maltise and teddy bears I was wondering how much they are and if you had any of them left?  I'm just getting ideas. Our little Yorkie (Pickles) is a wild thing but we love her. Hope you don't mind me e-mailing this to you.

Ric and Susan:
Here is a picture of my pride and Joy.  Ms. Alvena Bren Barrale Smith.  5 years of age.  Alvena is the
picture of her daddy.   Alvena is the sweetest puppy and I love her very much.  I give her the best of
everything that I can.  I had a little scare.  I felt a lump on her neck and I was so worried but to come
and find out it was nothing and there wasn't any cancerous growth.  Infact, it was not even a tumor as
thought.  Her chip is still intact and operable. it wasn't in the stuff he took out.  I sure was relieved.
Hope you and Mr. Ric are doing okay.   Well, Susan please know that I will always be grateful and
know that your choice was exactly perfect for me, since I could not be there.  My sister Rosalie loves
Alvena just as much as I do.  She has two their names are Luke and Tipper.

Thought I'd send you an updated photo of
our lovely Shiba Inu romping in the woods
behind our home. She's great---gotten over
being overly timid and is now great fun.
Loves climbing on trees!
She's about 13 months old in this photo.
Take care,

BELLA COLEMAN
Hi,
Bella is up to 3.4 lbs. and a lot of fun.  I will keep you up to date.  She is eating very well and runs like the wind.  She has also learned that she is not allowed in the living room, but has realized when I go in to get her she can run through (open floor plan) and  make me go in circles.  The funniest thing she does is knock the wise men out of the nativity and crawls in herself.

Hey Sue!
Just wanted to check in with you.  We got her home and she is adjusting well.  I named her Mizuki, which means "beautiful moon" in Japanese.  She loves to sleep, but is very sweet and playful when she isn't.  I have a vet visit scheduled for her tomorrow.  I'm so excited to have her, and I know she's happy here too.  I'll send pics as soon as I take some good ones.

Sue - Thought you might like to see how the "punk rock star" looks after his first grooming.  We have named him Charlie Brown............because he is a real little clown.  Since he has had a lot of the puppy hair trimmed, the light apricot color on his back is much more noticeable from a distance, but he is still a creamy color when viewed up close.
