The Labradoodle is a cross between the Labrador Retriever and Standard Poodle. This classic example of logical and planned cross breeding was created in Australia in the 1980's. The goal was and still is to create a new"breed" with the best attributes of the original breeds.
The Labradoodle is good with children and are easy to train. They get along well with other dogs. Extremely clever, sociable and joyful. Quick to learn unusual or special tasks. Active, a little comical at times. Can attempt to outsmart their owners if undisciplined. Friendly, though obviously loyal to their own family. Non-aggressive.
Hi there!
Last May I bought a labradoodle from you, and as of tomorrow, he will be
a year old. He, Gilligan, has turned out to be the best dog I have ever had.
He is smart, loving and has been easy to train from the start.
As you told me, these dogs have a great personality. Gilligan is now
75 pounds, so they do get big. In fact, my sister got a brother of his, and
he is now 85 pounds. Just wanted to let you know, you have a very happy
customer!
